Analysis Three

Steve McCurry's work is large scale as it often goes into national geographic magazines with money being pumped into their work meaning travels to Asia is common.

His work is not for fashion, instead, it shows poverty and the third world.

No major effects are used (like time lapse) but he alters the colouring to make them stand out.

His work shows poverty, war, and survival as there are images of scared looking children and women which bring across the dangers of the third world.

Steve McCurry's work and photos function is to tell a story and to open the worlds eyes to the different cultures and living that people endure all over the world, it is to show the poor and how they survive in their habitats.

All of Steve's photos have a composition that is mainly portrait's of people straight on looking into the camera, this is most important as it has more impact.

His narrative is mainly based around war and suffering by showing people looking scared into the camera.
